1970 was a big year in music. The Beatles break up and release their last album "Let It Be". The Isle of Wight festival is held in the UK with an audience of over 600,000. Drugs claim the lives of rock stars Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin. Simon and Garfunkel break up while their album "Bridge Over Troubled Water" is number one worldwide. Black Sabbath release their self-titled debut album, considered by many to be the first "heavy metal" album. The Jackson 5 have four US #1 singles.
